Stumped by Search? Try Topics!

Infographic for TopicsHaving trouble using search to find what you need? (And, let’s say, it’s after-hours and there isn’t anyone to help you on the live chat service.) Try browsing the Delaware.gov topics pages.

The GIC has collected and organized almost 40 pages of topics. These pages have hand-picked links to resources and information, carefully organized by area and category.

“For many people,  said the GIC  Ed McNeeley (Information Architect), the topics pages are ideal for people to browse and find what they need. Not everyone can use search all of the time because many users aren’t sure what they need. As an example, a parent will know they have a question about curriculum and won’t know where to start looking. They can go to the Education Topic Page’s section on Curriculum and then get a good starting place to learn more. That’s just one example.”
